Kenneth Hansen, the highly rated young Dane, returns to the Wolverhampton side to travel to Ipswich in the first leg of their Craven Shield qualifier tonight.
Hansen has been struggling with concussion ever since his horrifying crash at Reading a month ago.
He has tried to make a comeback on the continent but suffered some reaction and has missed a host of Parrys International Wolves meetings.
Now he is ready to return in the three-team event against the Witches and Coventry at Foxhall Stadium, with the second leg at Brandon on Friday and the third and deciding leg at Monmore Green on October 8.
Promoter Chris Van Straaten said: "Coventry must start the group as favourites and when we next open our doors on October 8 I expect to be welcoming them to Monmore Green as the new league champions.
"It will be good to see Kenneth back in the side and we will go to Ipswich looking to put on a good show."
Magnus Karlsson sits out the meetings as Wolves had to pick six from their seven-man team under the Craven Shield format.
Manager Peter Adams said: "Somebody had to miss out and on current form we thought Magnus was the wekaest of our riders so he has been left out."
It is proving a busy time for David Howe as he rode in Birmingham's Second City Trophy meeting last night before teaming up with the Parrys International Wolves.
The team travelling to Ipswich is: Peter Karlsson, William Lawson, Fredrik Lindgren, Kenneth Hansen, Billy Hamill and David Howe.
