Stafford Rangers scored their first win of the season on their visit to the south coast.

An opener from Addagio and a brace from McNiven were enough to secure all three points although a freak goal by Crittenden on the hour briefly threatened the visitors lead.

Stafford took the lead in the 15th minute. Marco Adaggio exchanged a one-two with McNiven to get through the Weymouth defence and slotted past Matthews.

Rangers doubled their lead in the 42nd minute. David McNiven scored with a lob which Matthews could only palm into the roof of the net.

Nick Crittenden overhit his cross from wide on the right and it sailed over keeper Scott Loach's head to pull one back for Weymouth but Stafford restored their two-goal advantage just three minutes later when McNiven beat the offside trap and broke clear before sliding the ball past the helpless Matthews.
