Halesowen manager Martin O'Connor is set to ditch goalkeeper James Dormand for tomorrow's home match against Yate in the Southern League.

The Yeltz manager has blamed the former Birmingham youngster for more than half the 12 goals conceded in the first six matches of the season and was hoping to sign a replacement today.

Dormand has been transfer listed for either a loan or permanent move.

O'Connor said: "I've looked back and analysed the games so far and it hasn't been good for him.

"Of the 12 goals we have conceded so far I think as many as nine of them have been down to him and as a manager I have to look at these things.

"He hasn't met the standards he set for himself last season and he hasn't met the standards I want from him."

O'Connor still has a lengthy injury list with midfielder Shane Paul (shoulder) joining Liam MacDonald, Paul Devlin, Duane Darby, Gary Knight, Ian Cooper and Junior Brown on the sidelines.
