The Wolverhampton Squash Open will be the venue for the cream of world squash next week.

The sport's top 16 men and women will play in the world ranking event at Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis and Squash Club in Tettenhall, featuring 16 nationalities.

A qualification draw of 16 players play for the first two days to get down to four semi-finalists.

These four join the top 12 entrants by world rank and then all 16 continue to play for the next four days to reach the final.

In the men's event, the top four are Aussie Stewart Boswell (world ranked 11), England pair Lee Beachill (WR13th) and Adrian Grant (WR16th) and Spain's Borja Golan (WR21st).

Wolverhampton head club coach Chris Ryder (WR62nd) has a wild card to enter the main draw.

In the women's event, the top four are Ireland's Madeline Perry (WR8), England pair Laura Lengthorn (WR11 and last year's winnner) and Dominique Lloyd-Walter (WR22) and Malaysia's Tricia Chuah (WR25).

Qualification starts on Tuesday (1pm) with the main draw starting on Thursday (1pm) and the finals on Sunday (6.30pm).

Admission is free on Tuesday and Wednesday for the first and final qualification rounds.

Entry is £5 each for Thursday and Friday for the first round and quarter finals and £10 on Saturday and Sunday for the semi-finals and finals. But fans watching the action from Thursday to Sunday inclusive get in for £20.
