It was back to earth after Saturday's thumping of Exeter City as Kidderminster had to come from behind to take a point at Throstle Nest.
It was a thoroughly deserved draw for the Harriers in a game that could have gone either way.
The home side showed true Yorkshire grit in a high tempo game that saw chances created at both ends.
Farsley got off to a whirlwind start and took the lead just into the third minute from their second corner.
Kiddy centre backs Gavin Hurran and Mark Creighton were busy marking the Celts forwards when midfielder Amjad Iqbal raced in to net a free header.
It could easily have been worse for the visitors, in the sixth minute a Simeon Bambrook shot stung the hands of Harriers keeper Scott Bevan.
He palmed the ball down but Damien Reeves got to it first and drove it into the keeper's body before it was cleared.
Kiddy midfielder Dean Bennett was the biggest threat to the home defence and he broke through to test the home keeper on several occasions.
A Justin Richards shot just before the hour was brilliantly saved and gathered by Farsley keeper Mark Wilberforce and a shot from James Constable following a later corner struck a post.
The signs were there and Kiddy's deserved equaliser came in the 71st minute.
A good delivery from a corner by Jeff Kenna had the home defence on the back foot and Harriers skipper Russell Penn fired the ball high into the roof of the net.
