"I think we need a little bit of luck in front of goal," said Robinson after Saturday's 2-0 defeat away to the unbeaten league leaders, Torquay United. Torquay took the lead in the 44th minute with a headed goal direct from a deep corner and added a second goal in the closing stages.
Robinson, who gave goalkeeper Robert Duggan his first game this season and started with Steve Hopkinson in midfield, feels his players deserve more than the single point they have gained so far.
He added that his side will be working hard to try and solve the goalscoring problems with just one of the three goals scored so far being from open play.
"It would be nice to be scoring a few more goals so we will be working on that in training," added the manager.
Stafford face Halifax Town at Marston Road on Thursday evening, a game being shown live on Setanta Sports.
