James Constable set them on the way with a 27th minute strike - his first since his two-goal showing at Wembley in the FA Carlsberg Trophy final in May.
Russ Penn added a second before the break, and Constable went on to complete a hat-trick with further goals in the 59th and 63rd minutes.
Harriers were expecting a tough test from their Devon visitors, who were among the league leaders at the start of play, but completely dominated.
