If you're looking for in-form players then Birmingham City's powerful striker Cameron Jerome was the top Fantasy Football scorer of the week after his brace against Derby.

The under 21 international calmly took his two goals worth six points.

Bolton kick-started their season, after three defeats, beating Reading 3-0 with Nicolas Anelka and El Hadji Diouf getting the bulk of the points.

Anelka's goal, his third of the season, and assist earned five points and Diouf's two assists earned four.

Ashley Young picked up four points for his two assists in Aston Villa's 2-1 win over Fulham.

The lively left-winger was too good for the Fulham back line and his trickery led to an own goal, the winner and a sending off.

Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Bolton and Manchester United rewarded any Fantasy League managers who invested heavily in their defenders by putting in strong defensive displays and all kept clean sheets this weekend.

But with Steven Gerrard and Wayne Rooney out injured and Cristiano Ronaldo still serving his suspension, the big guns have yet to really fire this season.

There is still plenty of time to sign up, with a top prize of £2,000 and nine £100 manager of the month awards on offer.

More than 3,800 people have already registered to play this season's game, organised in association with Wickes.

So if you fancy yourself as a rival to Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho or Rafael Benitez, this is your chance to prove it.
