Hackett wants promotion

Stourbridge boss Gary Hackett is calling for his side to go one better than last season as they prepare to kick off against Rothwell tomorrow.

The Glassboys went close to securing a play-off position in their first season in Southern League Midlands One last year - only missing out after a collapse in form.

Hackett said: "We went close to getting into the top five last season and that has to be the aim again for us.

"We've got a few key players coming back from injury so I think we're stronger."
