The Wolves man has landed backing for the new season from Wednesbury firm Q Property Development Ltd.
But it's not Howe's presence with Wolves that attracted the firm so much as the fact he will be riding in Poland for Gniezno Eagles.
For Q Property was launched five years ago by Polish managing director Zbyszek Zych. Virtually all its sub-contracting staff is Polish - and most of them are speedway fans."It was the thought of David riding in Poland which appealed to us, being a Polish company," said Terry Humphries, a manager with Q Property which deals with domestic and commercial building and decorating.
"We started five years ago with one man, Zbyszek Zych. We now have a network of about 70 sub-contractors, 98 per cent of whom are Polish.
"They are into speedway in a very big way. Most are from Katowice or Krakow, which is not far from Gniezno," he said.
"Currently there are about 150 Polish nationals in Darlaston alone, plus their families.
"Close to here the next biggest Polish community is Crewe, and of course you have speedway near there in Stoke. It makes the community feel at home.
"We got involved with David because he's a youngster, a local lad willing to get up and do something - that's what this company is all about."
Howe will be jetting out to Poland at the weekend to arrange his bike preparation with tuners KLM.
He'll then be organising his workshop in the country with Polish mechanic Lukasz Zwiako - and hoping to get in some riding laps."
