But the match at Sheffield three days earlier will give the Parrys International Wolves an opportunity to ride in a team setting.And they could not have picked a better venue than the big, pacy Owlerton bowl - Wolves open their season the following Thursday with a trip to Swindon, the largest circuit on the Elite League calendar.

"We're delighted to be able to help out," said Wolves promoter Chris Van Straaten.

"Magnus Karlsson, Freddie Lindgren and David Howe have already agreed the date - a good starting point.I would like to get one or both of the top two (Peter Karlsson and Billy Hamill), but that's all down to availability. We understand that."
