Money has already begun weighing up the future of a host of players whose contracts expire this summer. But he has insisted he will not be drawn into "wrangles" until his side are closer to the move up.

Star goalkeeper Clayton Ince heads a list of soon-to-be out-of-contract players.

"Obviously we're thinking about it and Paul Taylor (football consultant) and I talk about it a lot," said Money."But we don't really want to get into contract wrangles until we've achieved something. At the moment it's important that we all keep our feet on the ground because we've made a really good start but we've won nothing.

"Having said that, we are getting to the time when people are beginning to wonder what's happening and it's something we are aware of."

Money will be acutely aware of the need to tie up the futures of some of his players for next season, with Ince's agent already having made media noises about interest from elsewhere in the big goalkeeper.

Money, who takes his side to Mansfield tomorrow, continues to be part of the speculation over the manager's job at Coventry. But Walsall chairman Jeff Bonser said the Sky Blues had not made contact.
