Wolves line up young prospect

Wolves are closing in on their final two speedway signings for 2007.
William Lawson is poised to run as a double-up reserve for a second and final season.
And the Parrys International Wolves are now in discussions with hot Rye House prospect Steve Boxall to share the role.
Perthshire-based Lawson was a big success last season. Wolves promoter Chris Van Straaten hopes to conclude a contract with him this weekend - and he also dropped another hint on the Edinburgh asset's long-term future in the sport.
"He's coming down this weekend and we're hoping to finalise the terms of his contract," said Van Straaten.
"He's very much in our plans in the double-up position.
"It's his final year of doubling up - and I hope that in 2008 he will take the plunge and come into the Elite League full-time."
Van Straaten has had to be patient in his pursuit of Boxall - Wolves were second in the queue to talk to the Rye House rider, whose promoter Len Silver is usually abroad on business at this time of year.
But contact has now been made with the Canterbury-based rider, and Van Straaten is cautiously optimistic about doing a deal.
"We've finally made contact with Steve Boxall," he said.
"It took a long time to track Len down because he runs a winter ski-ing business in France.
"I've instigated discussions with Boxall and we are continuing to talk. I'm hopeful we can come to some conclusion.
"Geographically, at reserve it's going from one extreme to the other," he added.
"We've got William at the top of the country and Steve is one of the most southerly."
The burst of activity comes as the Monmore club wrapped up a seventh successive main sponsorship with holiday coach firm Parrys International.
The company launches its 2007 brochure on Sunday (10am-3pm) at its headquarters in Landywood Green, Cheslyn Hay.
Lawson will be there, with one of his speedway bikes, to represent the Monmore club.
