Money is hoping to add to his table-topping squad in the New Year with an on-the-field replacement for Kinsella high on his agenda following the veteran Irishman's departure for the Charlton coaching staff.
And the Saddlers boss has already identified a couple of potential targets who he will pursue when the transfer window opens on January 1.
But he has stressed he will not settle for second-best and he hinted he will complete the season with his existing squad if he cannot land the right players in the month-long window.
"Nothing has happened as yet," said Money, who was due to take his fringe players to Coventry's training ground for a friendly.
"We are still hoping to bring someone in but we'll have to see what happens.
"We will go through the 'due diligence' process and check out players thoroughly and if we can bring someone in, great.
"But if we can't it won't be the end of the world. I've said before that I'm delighted with the squad we have here and that hasn't changed."
Money was hit by a major midfield shortage at Wrexham on Saturday and Craig Pead and Daniel Fox formed an unlikely new-look partnership in the centre and youngster Mark Bradley had half-an-hour as a sub.
The problems should ease at Boston tomorrow with captain Michael Dobson back in training after flu and available for a recall.
However, Money is again likely to be without midfielders Dean Keates and Darren Wrack.
