Peter Karlsson, Freddie Lindgren and Billy Hamill all upped their averages last season to form a powerful spearhead for the Parrys International Wolves.

Promoter Chris Van Straaten wants all three back for the new campaign - Karlsson and Lindgren are club assets, while Hamill was loaned by Coventry - and negotiations are under way.

"As ever, we've got a Plan A, B and C," said Adams.

"We're still on Plan A and waiting for the cornerstones to drop into place. Then we'll know what we're doing.

"If any of those don't happen, then we still know what we're doing!

"Chris is trying to button down the three heatleaders - and progress is being made.

"Once those three people are committed then I think the other pieces of the jigsaw could drop into place fairly quickly.

"Our Plan A - I think you would be impressed by that team."

Adams was pleasantly surprised by the club announcement that he is to continue as team manager and co-promoter.

"I'm happy to see the formal announcement," he said.

"But from my perspective it was never in doubt. I always intended to continue."
