Rangers want change of luck
Stafford Rangers go into tomorrow's long trip to Gravesend & Northfleet looking for a morale-boosting victory that will reignite their season. Saturday's draw at Tamworth extended their winless run to ten games, but at least there was plenty of encouragement in the performance for Phil Robinson.
"It is a good point and gives us something to build on," said the manager.
"The one thing I can say about the players is that they are still working hard for the cause and giving everything they have got.
"It is difficult when results haven't gone for you, but they are standing up and being counted, trying to play in the right way and continuing to work hard."
Robinson was pleased with the clean sheet, the first since the 0-0 draw against York five weeks ago.
He added: "This is something we were looking to do. We also want to be a bit more productive at the other end as well.
"We fashioned out the better chances in the game even though they weren't that many clear-cut chances. We are looking for a change of luck and good fortune in front of goal to give us a win."
