Under speedway rules spectators need not be reimbursed if six heats have been completed.

But Wolves promoter Chris Van Straaten decided to reward the fans as a thank-you gesture for their support.

"We had 50 or 60 fans on the south coast and the chances are they might not be able to make the trip again with the holiday season drawing to a close," he said.

"So if they can produce their tickets on Monday they will be allowed in."

And Wolves are keeping their fingers crossed that tonight's Elite League speedway fixture at Eastbourne goes ahead.

Because Wednesday's washout has left them facing a fixtures logjam with nine meetings to be crammed in before the September 21 deadline.

"I think we might struggle to complete them all in time to be honest," said the Wolves boss.

Wolves will track the same side that beat Arena Essex on Monday with rider replacement to cover the continued absence of Christian Hefenbrock.
