Marisa Abela among Bafta-nominated stars at Vanity Fair EE Rising Star Party

Back To Black actress Marisa Abela was among the stars gracing a party in celebration of the Bafta Rising Star nominees on Wednesday night.
Actors, TV presenters and musicians mingled at the event, held ahead of the Bafta film awards on Sunday February 16.
Abela, who is nominated for the Rising Star Award, wore a structured, strapless, brown dress with black sunglasses to the party, held at Pavyllon London at the Four Seasons Hotel.
The 28-year-old portrayed Amy Winehouse in a biopic about her life, released last year, and is also known for her role playing Yasmin Kara-Hanani in BBC series, Industry.
Music star Ellie Goulding was also in attendance at the Vanity Fair EE Rising Star Party and opted for a drop waist, black and white dress featuring a cut-out panel.
The Starry Eyed singer, 38, also wore dark-coloured pumps and a mix of gold and silver rings.
Activist and UN goodwill ambassador, Sabrina Dhowre Elba, opted for a brown, long-sleeved dress with ruffle details and a v-neck when she took to the carpet.
The model, who married actor Idris Elba in 2019, completed her look with hoop earrings and a medallion-style necklace.
Also at the event was actress Meg Bellamy, who portrayed Kate Middleton in series six of The Crown.
She wore a textured, strapless, black gown paired with red lipstick and black pumps.
Rising Star nominee, Nabhaan Rizwan, opted for a black, leather jacket; striped, denim jeans and wide-rimmed sunglasses.
The British star, 27, played Dionysus in Netflix series Kaos, a modern day retelling of Greek mythology, and has also starred in the BBC comedy series, Juice.
Mercury Prize nominee Cat Burns wore muted colours that contrasted with a pink and dewy makeup look.
The singer-songwriter completed her look with a grey, suit jacket and gold jewellery.
Elsewhere, West End star Layton Williams wore a black ensemble complete with a silver, sequinned, crop top.
The 30-year-old, who was a finalist on Strictly Come Dancing in 2023, finished the look with a pair of silver hoops.
TV presenter Vernon Kay attended the party with his daughter, Phoebe, who wore a fitted, black top and trousers.
BBC Radio 2 presenter Kay wore a black suit and a navy blue turtleneck.
Among the other Bafta Rising Star nominees this year are Mikey Madison, who played the titular character in Anora, and Alien: Romulus star David Jonsson.
