The US actress is up for best supporting actress following her role in The Last Showgirl.
Jamie Lee Curtis said she has to miss the Bafta awards ceremony next month following the impact of the Covid pandemic and the wildfires in Los Angeles on her work schedule.

The Bafta nominations were announced more than a week after the fires broke out.
Curtis was nominated for her role in the film which follows Baywatch star Pamela Anderson playing a showgirl looking for a new path after her show closes abruptly after three decades.
The supporting actress category also features US pop singers Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez for their roles in Wicked and Emilia Perez respectively, alongside a second Emilia Perez nod for Zoe Saldana.
Italian actress Isabella Rossellini was also nominated for Conclave, while British star actress Felicity Jones secured a nod for portraying Adrien Brody’s wife in The Brutalist.
