Shrewsbury Town are running the rule over midfielder Luke Summerfield and right back Carl Regan as boss Graham Turner aims to conclude his squad rebuilding. Free agents Summerfield – son of former Town midfielder and coach Kevin – and Regan were given 25 minute substitute outings in yesterday's 2-1 victory over a Manchester United XI at the Greenhous Meadow. Summerfield, 23, spent six years at Plymouth –including loan spells at Bournemouth and Leyton Orient – before being released at the end of last season. And well-travelled 30-year-old Regan lists Macclesfield, MK Dons and Bristol Rovers amongst his former clubs.
