When it comes to making a dramatic entrance, the imagination of youngsters from across our region shows no bounds when it comes to turning on the glamour to mark the end of their exams.

The tradition of a formal school leavers ball originated in the United States, but has become increasingly popular in Britain over the last 10 years, with most schools now holding such an event.

And the teenagers from our area certainly have certainly done their schools proud, with an immaculate dress sense and stylish vehicles.
