PICTURED: Driver escapes injury as car smashes into telegraph pole
A car slammed into a telegraph pole and lamppost but no one was injured in a smash last night.

Fire crews attended the incident in Broadwell Road, in Oldbury, just after 10pm.
The male driver was given precautionary checks at the scene.
A West Midlands Fire Service spokesman said: "One fire engine from Oldbury attended the scene.
"The lamppost and telegraph pole were already in the dangerous position before the crash.
"Crews left the scene just before midnight.
"The Highways Agency made sure that the area was safe following the incident."
