Love is in the air: Wolverhampton MP ties the knot

Love was in the air for Wolverhampton MP Emma Reynolds who swapped Westminster for the wedding aisle when she tied the knot at the weekend.

The representative for Wolverhampton North East married solicitor Richard Stevens in a ceremony at Pendrell Hall in Codsall Wood on Saturday.

And she swapped her sharp suits for a stunning white dress, complete with bouquet of white and pink flowers, while her groom donned a navy suit for the occasion.

Emma, 38, who was elected in May 2010, and Richard, 36, met through the Labour party in 2009 and became a couple in 2012.

They are currently enjoying a honeymoon in the Lake District.

She said: "Richard and I were thrilled to get married at Pendrell Hall on Saturday.

"Our family and friends travelled from far and wide to share our special day with us.

"We are very much looking forward to our married life together."
