A haul of cigarettes thought to have been illegally imported were also retrieved.

A 37-year-old man and 44-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and possession of class B drugs, following the operation shortly before 6am this morning.

A team of 12 police officers forced their way into the property supported by dog handlers and customs officers. The raid was organised following a string of complaints from neighbours over suspicious activity at the property.

In October a Domehawk camera was installed in the street near to the house.

Sgt Stephanie Court, said "There have been large groups of people believed to be smoking and taking drugs coming in and out of the property and loitering in the street until the early hours of the morning."
