It shows the pair were decked out in dark clothing when they carried out the raid on Thursday night but they had scarves over their faces to try to hide their identity.

The robbers were inside the shop for less than one minute but owner Ranveer Malhi says the pair managed to get away with hundreds of pounds.

Today the 32-year-old told of his reaction when confronted with the armed raiders - who pointed the gun to his chest - and spoke of his relief that the incident wasn't more serious.

He added: "My wife and kids were upstairs at the time - so I'm relieved it wasn't more violent."

West Midlands Police spokeswoman Catherine Preece said an investigation had been launched into the robbery which happened just after 9pm and said the force was looking for anyone who may be able to identify the offenders or who may have witnessed the incident to contact police.
