Sugababes' Round Round line-up

A look back at the career of pop group Sugababes, due to play Wolverhampton Civic Hall this month, who have seen regular line-up changes over the years.

Sugababes play Wolverhampton Civic Hall on March 28. The band's original line-up included Keisha Buchanan, Siobhan Donaghy and Mutya Buena. They formed in the late 1990s and released their debut album One Touch in 2000.nextpage

Despite early acclaim - single Overload was nominated for a 2001 Brit best single award - the band did not enjoy huge success. Siobhan Donaghy departed amid reports of in-fighting, to be replaced by....nextpage

Former Atomic Kitten singer Heidi Range joined in 2001 - the Sugababes went on to notch their first number one the following year with Freak Like Me. Other hits including Round Round soon followed.nextpage

Despite a string of smash hits, reports of rows within the Sugababes frequently surfaced. The band denied they had issues and retained the same line up for four years until December 2005. nextpage

SugababesNext, it was founder member Mutya Buena who departed, citing "personal reasons" but insisting she would remain friends with her bandmates. In came Amelle Berrabah, a former member of another group, the little known Boo2. nextpage

The band notched two more number ones in 2007, including a cover of Walk This Way with Girls Aloud. Their line-up changes have remained a source of mirth to some - Never Mind the Buzzcocks host Simon Amstell jokingly claimed that his sister planned to spend her gap year in the band.
