From a tiny seed of an idea, to becoming a village hub where people can meet and eat, The Tea Rooms have had an amazing journey.
When the tearooms first opened they only had one full-time member of staff and a tiny kitchen. Fast forward twelve months and there are now five members of staff, the kitchen has doubled in size, and visitors can enjoy their tea in an Edwardian-style afternoon tea parlour decked out with fine china and linen. It's a lovely place for people to celebrate special occasions in style.
The success of the venture is due to the foresight of the Parish Council, the dedication of the staff who work above and beyond, and of course, the all important customers who make The Tea Rooms a really lovely place to spend time with friends and family, or a place for people who are isolated to receive a caring friendly welcome.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported The Tea Rooms over the past year. We truly cherish and value our customers who have contributed so much to make The Tea Rooms such a happy and successful place.
