The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Shrinks Christmas
This festive season the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort has shrunk Christmas with a magical take over of the world famous 47 million brick Miniland complete with a 9.5cm high Craig David turning on tiny LEGO® illuminations, a Royal Christmas dinner with plenty of fun flourishes and a flying appearance from Father Christmas.
Meanwhile over at Buckingham Palace the Miniland Royal Family are wrapped up in specially commissioned miniature knitwear ready to brave the cold at an al fresco Christmas dinner. The Queen and HRH Prince Philip are wearing tiny hats and scarves, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and HRH Prince Harry are donning suitably festive Christmas jumpers, whilst Princess Charlotte and Prince George are keeping warm in miniature mittens and hats with a Santa hat for Lupo, the Cambridge's Cocker Spaniel. The table is laid out with a LEGO-licious spread including Christmas pudding, turkey and tiny LEGO Christmas Crackers. And there's even a special bright red LEGO post box for the little Royals to post their letters to Santa.
At dusk, buildings including Edinburgh Castle will be lit up and guests will have fun spotting elves and reindeer, Christmas shoppers and carol singers. PLUS there will be a flying visit from Father Christmas himself.
It took the talented Model Makers 306 hours to create Christmas in Miniland which will be open during the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort's Christmas Bricktacular season running for 12 days* over Christmas starting on 3 December.
*Christmas Bricktacular runs 3rd/4th 10th/11th 17th to 24th December 2016
