Everyone deserves a Christmas!

It started with a few simple words to raise awareness of the plight of the homeless and less fortunate families in Wolverhampton as part of an appeal brought about in support of The Good Shepherd soup kitchen based in School Street.

We were amazed at the fantastic response! Within hours of our appeal last Wednesday evening via the Perton Community Post Facebook group and page, donations of food and toys began flooding in!

The appeal has been supported by The Learning Ladder toy shop based in Anders Square Perton which saw our community coming together once again with three shopping trolleys being filled with toys donated by kind hearted Perton residents. The local Sainsbury's also got involved, donating wrapping paper so that the toys can become presents.

Our spare room has become a temporary store room of food donations that have just kept coming in!

Once again Perton Community Post has brought out the goodness of the community in Perton who have astounded us with their generosity.
