FLABBERGASTED OVER COUNCIL BUDGET CUTS

I am flabbergasted (and angry) to say the least at Wolverhampton Council's latest decisions.

It was reported that the council leader would be in line for a pay rise of £30k per year (from £178,152 to £210,000 per year) which has now been approved – why?

The following day the Express & Star reported that cuts are threatened across social care, leisure centres, youth zones (and public toilets!).

Each and everyone one of these services are vital.

We have an overweight population in the borough, youth crime and drug using is high.

So cutting services that provide an alternative is totally insane.
