ITV claims to be one “of the best” producers of TV programmes. So why do they not prove it?

They advertised the final of Britain’s Got Talent, but then have competitors from all over the world.
Since when has the USA, Italy, China, etc been part of Britain?
And why do the cameras show the judges and the audience instead of the competitors?
The public are asked to be judges, yet they cannot see the acts.
