Fed up of hospital car park fee moaning
I am sick and tired of ranting about hospital car parking charges.
Nowhere in this country now can you leave your car for free - that is a government restriction they made Sandwell Councill put charges on all car parks. Hospitals such as City are in heavily built up areas doing away with all charges will not make parking at the hospital easier - locals will just use it as a dumping ground for their vehicles and people going to work in Bham will use it to avoid parking charges in Bham leaving their cars and getting a bus - much cheaper! So the car park would be of no use to patients.
Also when you talk of the money from car parking fees let’s put another thing into the game.
People moan their heads off about paying a few quid to park - but how about the thousands that are wasted every day by people who don’t turn up for hospital appointments - I had four last week.
Perhaps we should use the money from the carpark to cover all the DNAs - if we have enough.
