Put country first
It was, I believe, Winston Churchill who, when addressing parliament, said: “I see the opposition on the benches in front of me, my enemies however are behind me”.
I imagine that our embattled Prime Minister Theresa May is now fully cognisant of what the great man was referring to.
What on earth is wrong with our MPs? Are they hellbent on bringing down their own government?
What can possiby be the hidden agenda. Are all of Theresa May’s cabinet jousting for the position of prime minister?
It’s about time they put their party, and their country first!
But, sadly the days of when people went into politics to serve their country are long gone.
Nowadays all they think about is their own gratification, and if pursuing that end is harming the country, tough luck!
