Farage will form party

The resignation of Douglas Carswell, the Tory defector and UKIP’s only MP to become an independent, has been warmly welcomed by his ex-comrades. Only in the world of fruitcakes, could this be seen as a cause for celebration.

They claim it will bring unity to a party without parliamentary representation or a reason to exist. Arron Banks, their wealthy backer, has now ended his financial support for the party, effectively leaving leader Nuttall adrift without a paddle.

The egotists are unlikely to stay out of the limelight for long and will probably set-up a new party, lead by Farage as front man, funded by Banks. After carefully selecting a meaningless name, the aim will be to take votes from Labour to help their Tory chums.
