An 18-year-old is accused of the murder of the 14-year-old who was riding a moped before he was stabbed.
A teenager has appeared in court charged with the murder of 14-year-old Jaden Moodie.
Ayoub Majdouline, 18, appeared in the dock at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Majdouline, of Lily Gardens in Wembley, north west London, spoke to confirm his address, date of birth and nationality as British.
Jaden was stabbed to death on January 8 in Leyton, east London, after a group of five men in a black Mercedes rammed him off a moped, police believe.
Three of the men are thought to have got out of the vehicle before Jaden was knifed, then all five suspects fled in the car.
Majdouline, dressed in a grey tracksuit, is also charged with possession of a bladed article, namely a knife.
He was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.
