Labour unveils West Mids election squad
Labour has confirmed its full list of candidates for the West Midlands in the snap General Election.
Ian Austin, Emma Reynolds, Pat McFadden, Tom Watson, Adrian Bailey, John Spellar, Valerie Vaz and David Winnick will all return to contest the seats they won in 2015.
In Wolverhampton South West Eleanor Smith will run in place of the retiring Rob Marris, while Dudley Council leader Pete Lowe will return for a second attempt in Stourbridge.
Councillor Lowe finished second behind Conservative Margot James last time around. Another Dudley councillor, Ian Cooper, is up for the Halesowen and Rowley Regis seat.
Unison area organiser Natasha Millward will once again contest Dudley South, where she was 4,270 votes behind Tory Mike Wood in 2015.
Paul Dadge will contest Cannock Chase, while Sandwell councillor Christopher Worsey is the candidate in Lichfield.
Other candidates include Redditch councillor John Fisher (Aldridge-Brownhills), Sam Hale (Stone), David Williams (Stafford) and Adam Freeman (South Staffordshire).
