Motorway closed for several hours in Staffordshire due to police incident
The M6 Toll in Staffordshire was closed southbound for several hours between T6 (Burntwood) and T4 (Swinfen) due to a police incident.

Central Motorway Police Group (CMPG) attended the scene and the road has since reopened as of 11am. It was closed throughout the morning rush hour on Tuesday.
Diverted traffic was advised to use the M6 as an alternate route.
A spokesman for National Highways said: "If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time. Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey.
"Further information is available from National Highways by visiting our www.trafficengland.com website and travel apps, or via our regional X feed.
"Our 24/7 contact centre team is also available to provide up to the minute information on 0300 123 5000."
Meanwhile, at around 7.40am on Tuesday a multiple-vehicle crash caused delays between the M42 4A and Junction 5 for Castle Bromwich. The route is now clear.
