Closures and speed restrictions due as drivers warned of seven weeks of M54 work
There will be up to seven weeks of delays and diversions on the motorway linking Shropshire with Staffordshire and the Black Country.
National Highways has announced the work, which will take place on the M54 between the junction 5 for Telford Centre, and junction 4 for Shifnal.
It is taking place so workers can carry out bridge maintenance.
At various points from Friday, July 21, there will be 50mph speed restrictions on both carriageways, full closures, and lane closures.
An update from National Highways said: “The work is expected to start on Friday, July 21, and continue for approximately seven weeks.
