Wolverhampton road to close for five days starting tomorrow for fibre works
A road in Wolverhampton will close to vehicles for five days starting tomorrow as fast fibre is laid.
Wightwick Bank will be closed in both directions from its junction with Perton Brook Vale to its junction with Wightwick Grove.
It is anticipated the road closure will be in place from Monday to Friday. Vehicles will be diverted via Bridgnorth Road, The Holloway, Church Road, School Road, Mill Lane and vice versa.
The route is being closed to facilitate laying of a duct for fast fibre, with the works being carried out by City Fibre – the UK's largest independent full fibre platform.
