Emergency crews rushed to the M6 after a crash closed a lane between Junction 10 and 10A.
National Highways West Midlands said a road traffic collision was causing delays for commuters this morning.
It was also impacting traffic using the M54.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "Two of our paramedics came across the incident, but there were no patients requiring treatment."
