Air ambulance at scene as M6 Toll closed by serious crash
The M6 Toll in the West Midlands was closed in both directions after a serious crash during Friday rush hour, with the air ambulance at the scene.
A spokesman for the M6 Toll said: "We can confirm a serious road traffic accident is currently affecting traffic between the M6toll junction T1 and the M42 North and Southbound.
"All lanes are closed whilst the emergency services attend.
"Thank you for your ongoing patience."
The air ambulance, emergency services and National Highways traffic officers were all on the scene.
Road users were being diverted via the M6 and drivers were urged to avoid the area.
