No date set for re-opening of turning onto Pipers Row in Wolverhampton
A right-hand turn that has been blocked off for almost two years after work started on a busy Wolverhampton road does not yet have a date to re-open.
Drivers wanting to turn right down Pipers Row, after exiting the Bilston Street Island, have had to do a lengthy loop past Wolverhampton Library and back up Bilston Street to instead turn left onto Pipers Row since roadworks began there back in the spring of 2018.
Midland Metro Alliance has said there is not yet a date when the right turning will be back in use for drivers.
The work is part of the extension of the Midland Metro tram line to connect the current end of the line at Wolverhampton St George's to the railway station.
It all forms part of a multi-million pound project to boost transport links in the city.
