West Midlands Metro car park scheme plan lodged with council

Plans for nearly 200 parking spaces at a Wolverhampton Metro station have been lodged with council bosses.

Proposals for a 196-space car park to support the existing Bradley Lane Metro stop have been submitted to Walsall Council.

If approved, the car park will be built on playing fields off Great Bridge Road, in Bilston.

Bradley Lane Metro stop is located on the border of Walsall and Wolverhampton and serves the areas of Moxley and Bradley, as well as Tipton and Darlaston.

The tram stop situated a few hundred yards from the site of the old Bradley and Moxley railway station.

Walsall Council will make a decision on the planning application in the coming months.
