The busy town's Ring Road has been plighted with road closures, resurfacing work, and diversions since the beginning of July.

While motorists are still facing long delays during rush hour, the projects are slowly drawing to a conclusion.

Kelley Dyas, centre manager at Stourbridge's Ryemarket, said: "Luckily, it's getting better but there were a lot of closures for a while.

"Thankfully we've not seen our footfall affected, and it all seems like it's coming to a conclusion.

"It has been a bit of a pain, so we're breathing a sigh of relief really that it's all finished."

A new road renovation project saw Market Street in the town centre closed for a number of weeks, not long after a busy repair scheme that took place on Stourbridge Ring Road back in June, which caused heavy delays for drivers.
