M5 slip road closed due to flooding
Major flooding has shut a busy motorway slip road in the Black Country.
The northbound entry slip road for Junction 3 of the M5, near Halesowen, has been closed off.
Highways England are on the scene alongside contractors to try and clear the flood water, which accumulated around 11am today.
Initially, one lane was closed while traffic built up trying to wade through the water in the second lane.
But within an hour, Highways England were forced to shut both lanes as the water became too deep.
A Highways England spokeswoman confirmed that the road re-opened by 2.10pm when contractors drained the flood water.
