M6 crash causes four-mile tailback
Two lanes of the M6 were closed today after a crash in the Black Country.
Police, paramedics and traffic officers were called to Junction 10 of the motorway, near Walsall, at 9.43am after two cars collided.
Debris from the smash was strewn across the road and one car could be seen with damage to it's bumper and rear wheels.
Commuters faced four miles of congestion during the crash, adding 30 minutes to their journeys.
Those involved suffered minor injuries and the incident was cleared by midday.
A Highways England spokesman said: "Lanes one and two were closed after the crash.
"Lane two re-opened by 11am and lane one by 12pm when recovery and clear up of the scene was complete."
West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed that two ambulances and one paramedic officer attended the scene and one patient was treated for minor injuries that did not require hospital treatment.
They left the scene by 10.30am.
