West Midlands Metro disrupted due to signalling fault
Trams between Black Lake and West Bromwich were disrupted for almost two hours after a signalling fault.
The West Midlands Metro service was impacted at around 7.30am on Monday – with no service running between the two stations.
Tickets were accepted on trains between Wolverhampton and Birmingham, along with the National Express 79 service from Dudley Street in Wolverhampton.
People were urged to use the bus service to get to West Bromwich, before catching a tram to Birmingham.
The disruption was removed at around 9am – with delays remaining on the line.
