Two injured in car crash on Stourbridge street
A driver had to be cut from their vehicle after a two-car crash in Stourbridge.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Hungary Hill at around 6.30pm last night.
A woman had to be freed from her car by the fire service after the crash.
Police also closed the road in the aftermath of the incident.
The drivers of both cars were taken to Russells Hall Hospital but their injuries are not believed to be serious or life threatening.
West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman Jamie Arrowsmith said: "We were called at 6.46pm to reports of a two-car RTC on Hungary Hill, Stourbridge.
"Two ambulances and one paramedic officer attended.
"The driver of one vehicle, a woman, was cut free by the fire service and was taken to Russells Hall Hospital where her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
"A patient from the other vehicle was also taken to Russells Hall Hospital with injuries that are not believed to be serious."
Matthew Smith, spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service, said: "We were called at 6.39pm to Hungary Hill in Stourbridge.
"Two crews were sent to the scene, a fire engine from Stourbridge and a brigade response vehicle from Brierley Hill, which is eight firefighters in total.
"It was a two car RTC where one driver had already got out of the vehicle.
"The female driver of the other car was trapped so officers used cutting equipment to remove her from the car.
"We left the scene at 10.09pm."
