Long rush-hour delays as five-car crash blocks M54
Drivers faced long delays after a five-vehicle crash on the M54.
All westbound lanes were blocked for around an hour as a result of the collision near Wolverhampton.
Police, paramedics and firefighters were all been sent to the crash, which happened between junctions 2 and 3 at around 5pm.
Motorists heading towards Telford and Shrewsbury were stuck behind the incident, with stationary traffic backed up towards the M6 and the A449 in Wolverhampton.
The road remained blocked until the vehicles were moved to the hard shoulder and all lanes reopened at 6pm.
The extent of any injuries is not yet known.
