M54 delays after rush-hour crash
There were delays on the M54 this morning after a rush-hour crash involving a lorry and three cars.
All eastbound traffic was held for 15 minutes between Junction 3 for Albrighton and Junction 2 for Wolverhampton at around 8.55am.
One of the lanes was closed while traffic officers and paramedics dealt with the incident and delays were reported to be about 15 minutes.
Two ambulances were sent to the scene and a man and a woman were treated for minor injuries.
Jamie Arrowsmith, spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called at 8.44am to reports of a multi-vehicle collision on the M54 between Junction 3 and Junction 2.
"We sent two ambulances and a paramedic officer to the scene. Two patients were assessed, a man and a woman, both were treated for minor injuries and discharged on the scene."
Highways England has been contacted for comment.
